Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will collect credit accounts daily, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and assist in upselling products.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and leadership.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Willing to work a variety of days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with delivery insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
