Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver who will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote sales and loyalty programs. You will collect credit accounts and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, providing insights from deliveries to CPP and assisting with upselling.

You will maintain inventory knowledge, stock parts, engage customers and ensure a clean store environment, while handling general stocking and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Friendly and persuasive communication.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
