Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will build relationships with large pro accounts, collect credits, and promote current sales and loyalty programs while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory accuracy.

The role requires safe driving, excellent communication, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell products. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs.
• Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell to increase transaction value.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
