Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers in Jackson, AL. You will also pick up returns and cores, drop off weekly sales flyers, and collect credit accounts while promoting loyalty programs.

Responsibilities include building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upselling products, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking inventory, and assisting walk-in customers with parts recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
