Job summary

Advance-Auto-Parts in Lockhart, TX seeks a driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers and assist with returns, cores, and flyer distribution. You will build relationships with major pro accounts and contribute insights from daily deliveries to drive sales.

The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and ability to upsell while maintaining store cleanliness and stock. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Read/write English; basic math for transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
