Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Tyler, TX is seeking a dependable driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns and cores, drop off sales flyers, and assist with daily credit account collections.

You will build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, help upsell and cross-sell products, keep the store clean and stocked, and engage walk‑in customers to understand their needs and recommend parts or services.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and team.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating manuals and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills for transaction accuracy and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
