Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver for pro customer deliveries in a fast-paced environment. You will pick, stage and deliver parts, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

Daily tasks include collecting credit accounts and building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while sharing insights from deliveries. You will assist in upselling, maintain inventory, and help customers with product recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
