Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Kansas is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. Maintain store cleanliness and stock while supporting daily credit account collection.

You will build relationships with customers, upsell products, and assist walk-in customers by understanding their needs and recommending solutions. Safe driving, strong communication, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking and inventory management including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
