Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to professional customers. You will also pick up returns and cores and help promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role includes daily collection of credit accounts, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and upselling and cross-selling to boost average transaction value. You will maintain store cleanliness and assist with stocking and inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have safe driving and navigation skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to upsell and cross-sell to increase value.
• Read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Able to perform basic math for transactions and inventories.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
