Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery associate to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will manage returns, stock, and store upkeep while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

Key duties include collecting accounts, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and assisting in upselling to raise average transaction value. Cash handling and math skills support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and peers.
• Comfort with basic math for transactions and stock management.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general stocking duties.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
