Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery-focused associate to pick, stage, and deliver parts to professional customers in a fast-paced environment. You will also collect credit accounts and promote loyalty programs while supporting inventory and store upkeep.

Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional higher lifts, with a varied day/evening/weekend

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Automotive parts experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights from deliveries.
Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness and stock floors, restrooms, and parking lot.
General stocking including back stock and cycle counts.
Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
Other duties as assigned.
