Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers in the Newport News area. You will also pick up returns, distribute sales flyers, and assist with credit accounts while promoting sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires clear English communication, safe driving, and strong customer service skills. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred, with the ability to lift heavy items and work varied shifts.

Competenze

Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Mansioni

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
