Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will pick up returns, distribute weekly flyers, and promote loyalty programs while handling daily credit accounts.

Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, maintain stock and store cleanliness, and help with inventory and new arrivals. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work flexible days.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and inventory.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
