Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Indiana seeks a customer-focused Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to promote loyalty programs. You will also handle returns, help with credit process, and stock the store while assisting customers with their needs.

You will engage with walk-in customers, upsell where appropriate, maintain cleanliness, and support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Safety awareness and ability to operate in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
