Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loader at our New York area store to assist customers, locate and load merchandise, and support checkout and fulfillment.

You will help stage orders, maintain stock, and operate store equipment safely to ensure efficient service and positive customer experiences. The role emphasizes strong safety practices, teamwork, and proactive customer assistance in a fast-paced home improvement retail environment, with opportunities to learn about large-order fulfillment

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise and respond to questions
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate store equipment safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Identify and report safety hazards to management and/or Asset Protection
