Job summary

Lowe's in Pittsboro, NC is seeking a Loader to assist customers, load merchandise, and support Pro and Garden Center operations. You will handle stock, move loads safely, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Basics include customer service, daily use of store tech, and collaboration with store teams to fulfill orders accurately. Prior retail experience is a plus and safety training is required.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Customer service and assistance with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance across the store
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately
• Use power equipment and store technology safely to move and load merchandise
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing items
• Assist with large order fulfillment while ensuring quality and accuracy
• Keep carts collected and maintain clean, safe work areas in store and parking lot
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns
• Operate store equipment as needed in various departments
• Communicate product information and guidance to customers and colleagues
• Follow Lowe’s safety policies and procedures and perform additional duties as assigned
• Support Pro loading area and Garden Center loading area as applicable
