Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to support our imaging team across Chicagoland clinics. The role offers flexible, as-needed shifts with assignment to multiple locations based on need and your ability to commute.

You’ll perform extremity X-ray imaging, maintain ALARA principles, and document findings in the EMR. ARRT certification or progress toward it is expected, along with Illinois licensure to practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT certification or on track to complete within 6 months.
• Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety or IDPH Radiologic Technologist licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray imaging following physician orders and ALARA principles.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and document in the EMR (Epic).
• Support clinical tasks as needed by the clinic team.
• Relay physician and PA treatment instructions to patients.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform daily QC checks, reporting issues promptly.
