Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team across Chicagoland. You will perform extremity X-ray imaging, room patients, document in Epic, and support clinical tasks.

Requirements include a Radiologic Technology degree and ARRT certification or progress toward it, plus Illinois licensure. New grads welcome. Compensation ranges $28–$38 per hour, with flexible shifts and cross-location exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT certification or on track to complete within 6 months.
• Illinois licensure required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray imaging following physician orders and ALARA principles.
• Room patients, collect vitals, document in EMR (Epic).
• Support clinical tasks as needed.
• Relay physician instructions to patients about their treatment plans.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform daily QC checks.
