Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to perform extremity imaging and support patient care across Chicagoland clinics. You will room patients, document in the EMR, and assist with clinical tasks while maintaining ALARA principles.

Qualified candidates have a Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT certification or progress toward it within six months, and IL licensure. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• Illinois license (nuclear safety or radiologic technologist) required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray imaging following physician orders and ALARA principles.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and document in the EMR (Epic).
• Support clinical tasks as needed.
• Relay physician instructions to patients regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain imaging equipment, conduct daily QC checks, and report issues.
