Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. You’ll perform extremity X-ray imaging, maintain equipment, and document in Epic while supporting flexible, as-needed shifts across multiple Chicagoland clinics.

New grads welcome; ARRT certification within 6 months, Illinois licensure required. You’ll work with patients, relay physician instructions, and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with Spanish language skills as a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification or progress toward certification within 6 months.
• IL Department of Nuclear Safety licensure (or IDPH Radiologic Technologist) required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray imaging following physician orders and ALARA principles.
• Room patients, record vitals, and document in EMR (Epic).
• Support clinical tasks as needed.
• Relay physician instructions to patients regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform daily QC checks.
