Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Chicagoland is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to join its imaging team. The role involves extremity X-ray and fluoroscopic imaging, patient prep, and EMR documentation across multiple locations.

You should have a Radiologic Technology degree; ARRT certification within 6 months; Illinois licensure; and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification (or within 6 months of hire).
• Illinois licensure (IDPH) required to practice.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray and fluoroscopic imaging per physician orders.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain steps.
• Room patients, take vitals, and document in the EMR (Epic).
• Assist with injection prep, wound care, DME, and pre/post-op care.
• Relay physician instructions to patients about treatment plans.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform daily QC checks.
