Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced or upcoming nurse graduate for a supplemental RN ambulatory position in the Wound Clinic. The PRN role requires availability to work at least 16 hours within a six-week period, with clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., and no travel, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. You will provide skilled nursing care including patient assessments, wound dressing changes, patient education, care coordination, and nurse-only

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required; other advanced life support as needed per unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments, wound dressing applications and changes.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
• Conduct nurse-only visits in ambulatory setting.
• Collaborate with one full-time and two part-time physicians.
• Operate in a clinic with six treatment rooms and HBO chambers.
