Job summary

IRMC in Indiana, PA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Wound Care Clinic. The role is on-site and full-time, with days varying to meet patient needs.

The ideal candidate will have BSN preferred, PA RN licensure, and med-surg experience, plus wound care exposure or readiness to gain HBO/ ACLS credentials. You will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care, coordinating with the health team and supervising LPNs and nursing students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 2 years med-surg experience preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• HBO experience preferred or attained within 2 months of hire (FT and PT only).
• Experience in outpatient clinic setting preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and recording patient care per plans of care.
• Coordinating nursing care with other health team members.
• Directing and assisting LPN, HBO tech, and nursing students in rendering care.
• Collaborating with all members of the patient care team.
• Responding quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Demonstrating ability to function as a charge nurse as assigned.
• Applying knowledge of growth and development to age-appropriate care.
