Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse / RN Case Manager to support patients in home-based hospice care in Austin, TX. You will provide clinical nursing oversight, assess needs, and coordinate care with the patient, family, and care team.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, end-of-life care, and education for families, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional support.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state you work
• Minimum 2 years as a registered nurse; hospice experience preferred
• Driver’s license required
• Current CPR and BCLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting patient and family relationships with compassionate care.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one to empower them.
• Collaborate with care team to provide comfort, peace, and dignity at home.
