Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to support diagnostic imaging. This role focuses on producing high-quality images, verifying orders, and assisting with student supervision during clinical rotations.

The position requires an Associate degree in sonography with ARDMS Abdomen and OB-Gyn certifications, CPR, and up-to-date competencies. This on-site role complements the imaging team’s workflow and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in sonography or equivalent.
• Currently certified or eligible for ARDMS Abdomen and OB-Gyn.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and BLS where required.
• Less than one year of ultrasound experience.

Responsabilités

• Produce quality ultrasound images for radiologist review.
• Prepare copies of images and release records in EHR.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; document incidents as needed.
• Supervise ultrasound students during clinical rotations.
• Assist in equipment checks and contribute to training sessions.
