Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join the imaging team. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple modalities in a patient-centered environment.

The department uses Philips systems, and the technologist will contribute to exam accuracy, patient safety, and training of ultrasound students while supporting daily operations and collaboration with radiology staff.

Formación

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire and BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of experience as a certified Ultrasound Technologist preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Exams include abdominal, vascular, small parts, OB-GYN, and interventional procedures.
• Follows departmental policy and uses cognitive skills to adapt procedures.
• Communicates findings to Radiologist and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Assists with daily ultrasound operations, tracking, and equipment maintenance.
• Training of ultrasound students during clinical rotations.
