Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography.
- Must be proficient with ultrasound physics and imaging protocols.
- Experience with PACS and radiology software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders and protocols.
- Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort, privacy, and cooperation.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS; complete studies for radiologist review.
- Sterilize transducers and ensure equipment safety; follow infection control standards.
