AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist in Parker, Colorado. The role requires performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, verifying patient identity, and obtaining clinical history prior to scanning.

You will operate imaging equipment, document results in EMR/PACS, and ensure patient comfort and privacy throughout the exam. Responsibilities include educating patients, maintaining workflow, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Qualificações

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Must use computer systems for data entry and retrieve information; basic MS Office skills required.
• Strong patient care and communication skills across ages from infant to geriatric are required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness, obtains clinical history.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and maintains documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and privacy.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other providers for appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
