Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across Orlando and Mt. Dora locations. You will operate ultrasound equipment, produce high-quality images, and assist licensed practitioners with procedures as needed.

The role requires flexibility, travel between sites, and adherence to patient privacy and safety standards. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, ARRT/ARDMS credentials, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Certification through ARRT (S) or ARDMS required.
• CPR/BLS certification + ACLS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and generate diagnostic images.
• Identify normal and abnormal results and communicate summaries to physicians.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
