AdventHealth Brandon is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in a fast-paced environment. You will verify patient history, optimize imaging, and document results in EMR/PACS while ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT-type credentials, strong patient communication skills, and flexibility to cover Sundays and holidays. Training at other facilities is possible, with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Doppler techniques proficiency and independent exam performance.
• Proficiency with Radiology software and PACS.
• Ability to interact with patients of all ages and explain procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and clinical history prior to scanning.
• Position patients and optimize images, waveforms, and data.
• Document findings accurately in EMR/PACS.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
