Job summary

Mission Health seeks a compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to operate ultrasound equipment and produce quality images under physician orders. This PRN role emphasizes independence, safe patient care, and adherence to standard procedures within the Mission Health System.

The candidate will maintain certifications, engage in ongoing education, and may perform a range of ARDMS/ARDT specialty exams as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• AR DMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire; vascular registry from ARDMS/ARRT/CCI must be obtained within 12 months.
• BCLS certified.
• Preferred ARDMS in multiple specialties.
• Must participate in QA programs and CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images as directed by a physician.
• Provide patient care in a timely, professional, and safe manner.
• May perform invasive and non-invasive procedures and assist physicians as needed.
• Work without constant supervision to produce high-quality imaging studies.
• AR DMS specialty certifications may be required depending on department needs.

Education
