Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology or sonography preferred.
• ARDMS/ARRT eligibility preferred or board certification.
• Experience with ultrasound physics, Doppler, and anatomy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness and gathers clinical history prior to scanning.
• Positions patients and equipment and optimizes images, waveforms, and data.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Explains procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, privacy and cooperation.
