Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with provider orders and established protocols.

You will verify patient identity, document in the EMR/PACS, educate patients about the exam, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and continuity of care. Must maintain licensure, complete CE, and work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound physics and Doppler knowledge.
• Proficient with EMR and PACS.
• Strong patient-care and communication across all ages.
• Able to work with patients of all ages.
• English proficiency.
• Familiar with Radiology software.
• Commitment to continuing education.
• Independent ultrasound procedures.
• Recognize subtle pathology cues.
• Team-oriented with initiative.
• Experience with Breast/Prostate/OR ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and obtain history.
• Position patients and adjust transducers for optimal images.
• Document findings in EMR/PACS.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain infection control and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging.
• Prepare rooms and equipment; monitor supplies.
