Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with provider orders and protocols. You will verify patient identity, position patients, and obtain clinical history before scanning, while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

In this role you will operate all imaging equipment safely, document findings in EMR/PACS, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely care for diverse patient ages.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics as well as cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and Doppler techniques.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtains clinical history prior to scanning.
• Operates imaging equipment safely; professional interaction with patients and staff.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about the exam and ensures comfort and privacy.
