Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a PRN Emergency Medical Technician to join the EMS Transport Services team. The ES Transport EMT supports the Paramedic, responding to calls, coordinating with providers, and transporting patients on ambulances. In the Emergency Department, you will assist under the direction of a Paramedic or RN.

Responsibilities align with approved medical protocols and departmental policies while ensuring safe, compassionate patient care across our network.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• EMT or AEMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Paramedic in rendering safe and effective treatment and transport of patients.
• Respond to EMS Call-Center requests and coordinate with other providers.
• Facilitate patient transport on the EMS ambulance.
• Provide care in the Emergency Department under supervision of Paramedic or RN.
• Perform duties per job description, medical protocols, and departmental policy.
