Job summary

As a Certified Surgical Technologist at St. Anthony North Hospital, you will join a fast‑paced surgical team, keeping the OR organized, sterile, and ready for safe, efficient procedures under the surgeon and RN.

You will scrub for a diverse case mix including Orthopedics, trauma, plastics, and general surgery across 12 suites, perform room turnovers, restock supplies, and participate in on‑call coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
• Colorado DORA surgical technologist registration for associates in Colorado.
• Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile technique and prepares sterile field.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and nurses and assists during procedures.
• Assists with patient prep, moving, and room turnover between cases.
• Performs counts with circulator and ensures instrument readiness.
• Provides on-call coverage outside standard hours per policy.
