Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current Colorado DORA registration as a surgical technologist.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile technique and correct instrument counts during procedures.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and nurses as needed.
• Prepare and move patients and sterilize cleaning of instruments and rooms.
• Assist with room turnovers, restocking supplies, and keeping preference cards up to date.
• Provide on-call coverage outside of standard hours per policy.
• Anticipate issues and adapt to emergent cases to protect flow.
