Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support a high-volume OR team. You will maintain a sterile field, hand instruments to surgeons, and help with patient prep and room turnover in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a surgical tech program, BLS, and Colorado DORA registration. Cross-training supports multiple specialties within 17 OR suites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete an approved Surgical Technician program.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Colorado DORA registration as a surgical technologist.
• NBSTSA certification or NCCT Tech in Surgery certification.
• Preferred: 1 year OR experience.
• Preferred: experience in a specialty field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile technique and organize the OR setup.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and nurses during procedures.
• Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean rooms and equipment.
• Assist in counts before incision and after procedures.
• Provide on-call coverage as required by the department.
• Ensure smooth room turnover and supply availability.
