RMH Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV is seeking a dedicated OR Scrub Tech to assist with surgical cases under the supervision of the registered nurse and surgeon.

The role requires a High School diploma, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and either a current LPN/RN license or completion of WVU Surg Tech Trainee program, with preferred scrub experience. This PRN position supports the operating room team and patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current licensure as LPN or RN or completion of WVU Surg Tech Trainee program or external Surgical Technology program, or two years of scrub experience.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up for scheduled cases with needed supplies and instrumentation.
• Assists in safe transport of patient to operating room and proper positioning on OR table.
• Verifies surgical site and procedure to be performed for patient safety.
• Follows sterile technique and passes instruments to surgeons.
• Assists in decontamination and setup of instruments and supplies.
• Monitors and operates autoclave equipment as required.
• Supports RN/Physician and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Assists with endoscopic procedures and room turnover.
