Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LPN to practice in the state.
• Two years of scrub experience OR completion of a Surgical Technology Program with certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique in sterile and unsterile OR roles.
• Assist circulating RN to maintain sterile field and monitor technique.
• Perform sponge, instrument, and needle counts per guidelines.
• Assist with gowning, gloving, positioning of equipment and surgeons.
• Pass sterile instruments to the surgical team during procedures.
• Prepare supplies and equipment per preference cards; assist with sterilization.
