Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• For post-5/1/2024 hires: licensure as LPN or completion of Surg Tech/RN program or 2 years scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up for scheduled cases with supplies and instrumentation.
• Assist in safe patient transport and proper positioning on OR table.
• Confirm surgical site and procedure per safety goals.
• Scrub and don gloves/gown; assist in gowning and gloving.
• Assist in instrument/sharp/soff goods accounting.
• Pass instruments to surgeon and improve instrument handling.
• Assist in OR cleanup and restock supplies.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and protective equipment.
