Qualifications

• Completion of LPN program or equivalent.
• Or completion of Surgical Technology program or RN program.
• High school diploma plus six months scrub experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes aseptic technique in OR settings.
• Assists circulating RN to maintain sterile field.
• Performs sponge, instrument, and needle counts.
• Assists with gowning/gloving and positioning.
• Passes sterile instruments during procedures.
• Assists with patient transport and positioning.
• Prepares supplies and equipment per cards.
• Maintains inventory and restocks supplies.
• Record patient charges; 30-minute call response.
• Completes annual education for specialty accreditation.
