Job summary

Key-Whitman Eye Center is seeking a PRN Scrub Tech to assist during surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room with instruments and supplies, assist with patient positioning, and maintain sterile technique throughout cases.

The role requires readiness to scrub in, set up procedures, and support postoperative room turnover. A focus on patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to ASC policies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning, prepping and draping patients for surgical procedures.
• Sets up, scrubs and prepares procedures at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled time.
• Maintains an orderly and sterile instrument table and follows department setup procedures.
• Cares for specimens and handles them accurately.
• Performs asepsis and sterile technique during treatment and procedures.
• Cleans and prepares rooms between procedures and restocks supplies for end of case cleanup.
