Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of New Albany seeks a Scrub Technician / Surgical Technician to assist surgeons and nurses in our operating room. This full-time role offers on-the-job training and a path to growth within a patient-focused OR team.

You'll prepare the OR, scrub and pass instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support daily operations in a compliant environment with HIPAA adherence and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision.
• Maintains sterile technique and room readiness.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Delivers instruments to surgical team during operations.
• Supports patient transfer to PACU as needed.
• Keeps records of medications and specimens.
