Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc in McKinney, TX is seeking a PRN Scrub Tech to assist during operative procedures. You will prepare the operating room, stock instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team throughout cases.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, instrument counts, aseptic setup, and cleaning and sterilizing instruments between cases. Cross-training to multiple ASC areas and a strong focus on safety and patient comfort are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room with anticipated instruments for each procedure.
• Maintains sterile technique and asepsis during operations.
• Assists with patient positioning, draping, and prep.
• Performs instrument counts and reports discrepancies.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments and restocks for next case.
• Collaborates with nursing team for safety and efficiency.
