Eye Surgery Center of New Albany is seeking a Scrub Technician / Surgical Technician to assist in surgical operations under the supervision of Surgeons and registered nurses. You will help organize the operating room, prepare instruments and maintain sterile technique to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of Surgeons, RNs and Surgical Assistants.
• Organizes and maintains the operating room per standards and policies.
• Assists Nurses and Surgeons in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Prepare, drape and position patients for surgery and ensure sterile technique.
