Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a PRN Residential Specialist for night shifts with some weekend coverage. You will supervise client activities, provide crisis intervention, and log pertinent information for counselors and the treatment team.

You’ll join a facility dedicated to intensive treatment for substance use, with responsibilities including group facilitation, safety checks, and collaboration with the SUD Residential Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in a relevant field and ability to obtain CDCA within 6 months.
• Strong documentation and IT literacy; familiarity with EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and current clinical records for all persons served.
• Provide education to persons served, family members, and staff on substance use treatment and wellness.
• Observe mental illness or substance use symptoms and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Facilitate group activities focused on mental health or substance use needs.
• Provide direct supervision to ensure safety and meet basic needs.
