Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Georgia's Decatur Medical Offices is seeking a Pharmacist to perform general pharmacist duties under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. The role includes compounding and dispensing, reviewing prescriptions, maintaining records, and delivering Pharmaceutical Care to members.

You will work with medical staff to ensure quality care, participate in education for staff and providers, manage inventory, and support patient education programs.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license (Georgia) required at hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Knowledge of formulary systems and inventory control.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 15 pounds.
• Complete Customer Service Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general pharmacist duties including compounding, dispensing, and reviewing prescriptions for safety.
• Provide Pharmaceutical Care, including drug utilization review and counseling patients.
• Educate physicians and staff on cost‑effective therapy and formulary use; train new personnel.
• Maintain accurate records for legend and controlled substances and manage inventory.
