Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Accredited School of Pharmacy as part of qualification.
• Pharmacist License valid for Georgia.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense drugs; review prescriptions for overdoses and toxic compounds.
• Provide Pharmaceutical Care including drug utilization review and monitoring interactions.
• Counsel patients and educate physicians on cost-effective therapy and formulary goals.
• Orient and train new staff on policies; participate in patient education programs.
• Maintain inventory control and purchasing; provide friendly, expeditious service.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to improve quality of care.
