Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado in Montrose, CO is seeking a Speech Therapist for a part-time, PRN role. You will provide ongoing therapy to clients per physician orders, evaluate and treat, and communicate progress with families and the health team.

This position offers a supportive environment, opportunities for growth, and competitive pay between $45.90 and $51.20 per hour, with benefits including PTO, life insurance, and an employee assistance program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience with adults/children with neurological disorders.
• Valid state license or actively accumulating licensure supervision experience.
• Registration with Department of Health or eligible.
• Recommended ASHA/ Speech Hearing Association membership.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing therapy to clients per physician orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate progress within the agency regarding resident progress.
• Evaluate and treat clients and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with families, physicians and health team members.
• Initiate treatments and obtain physician approval for services.
• Maintain proper documentation per state/federal and payor regulations.
